Aleanca për Mbrojtjen e Butrintit ka miratuar një Rezolutë ku i kërkon qeverisë transparencë në lidhje me draft-ligjin për dhënien me koncesion për 10 vjet të Parkut Natyror të Butrintit, te Fondacioni Shqiptaro Amerikan për Zhvillim.
Në Rezolutë theksohet se janë të nevojshme dëgjesa publike me grupe e komuniteteve shkencore të vendit, si dhe mosdërgim në Parlament të këtij “Draft ligji” pa u diskutuar më parë me hapat e duhur në të gjitha instancat akademike e shkencore të vendit.

Tryeza e parë shkencore mbi mbrpjtjen e vlerave të mëdha të Butrintit, me qëllim rritjen e vetëdijes së shqiptarëve mbi rëndësinë e njohjes së lidhjeve të historisë së tyre me kulturat e antikitetit pati nje prurje me mbi 20 diskutime dhe me disa kumtesa të mbajtura nga shkencëtarë, profesorë dhe ekspertë të arkeologjisë, historisë e gjuhësisë nga çdo trevë e Shqipërise. Duke u bazuar tek i gjithë materiali prezantues, ku përfshihen fusha të ndryshme studimesh, jemi plotësisht të vetëdijshëm që Shqipëria zotëron sot potencialin e saj me studiues, të aftë të kryejne kërkime dhe studime të thella shkencore, të analizojnë me objektivitet faktet e fushave të ndryshme. Dhe mbi bazën e analizës krahasuese të arrijnë në përfundime objektive e të mbështetura mbi prova tëfaktuara, me qëllimin për të hedhur dritë mbi ato të vërteta – deri tani të lëna në mjegull e harresë – për t’a drejtuar menaxhimin e aktivitetit të Butrintit mbi bazën e të cilave të ngrihet e vërteta mbi të. Të vetëdijshëm tashmë në kërkim të rrënjëve të etnogjenezës sonë, si e drejta jonë natyrore e dhënë nga zoti si popull dhe si komb, ne, intelektualët dhe akademikët shqiptarë, përfaqësues dhe mbrojtës me baza shkencore të idesë së vazhdimësisë dhe lidhjes së pandërprerë historiko-gjuhësore dhe etnike të popullit e kombit tonë që nga para antikiteti deri në ditët e sotme, u parashtrojmë aktorëve politikbërës, faktorëve vendimmarrës, qëndror e lokal rezolutën e mëposhtme lidhur me ligjin që po kalon në parlamentin shqiptar mbi çështjen e Butrintit, për të cilën kërkojmë:
1. Transparencën e duhur nga Qeveria, dëgjesa publike me grupe e komuniteteve shkencore të vendit, si dhe mosdërgim në Parlament të këtij “Draft ligji” pa u diskutuar më parë me hapat e duhur në të gjitha instancat akademike e shkencore të vendit.

The first scientific table on the protection of the great heritage values of Butrint, aiming the increase of the Albanians’ awareness for the importance of the acknowledgement of the connections of their history with the cultures of the antiquity, had a feed of over 20 discussions and papers presented by scientists, professors and experts of archaeology, history, and linguistics from every region of Albania. Based on all the presented materials, which included various fields of study, we are fully aware that Albania today has a potential with researchers, capable of conducting scientific and in-depth studies and research, and of analyzing objectively facts in various fields. And, based on the comparative analysis they can reach objective conclusions based on factual evidence with the goal of shedding light on those truths – so far left in mist and oblivion – that would enable them to conduct the management of Butrint’s activity on the base on which its truth rises.
Already aware in search of the roots of our ethnogenesis, as our natural God-given right as a People and Nation, we, Albanian intellectuals and academics – representatives and scientific defenders of the idea of continuity and unbroken historical-linguistic connection and ethnicity of the people of our nation from antiquity to the present day – submit to the policymakers, the decision-making factors, both in government and local levels, the following resolution on the legislation that the Parliament of Albania is passing on the issue of Butrint, for which we demand:
1. Proper transparency from the Government, public hearings with groups of the scientific communities of the country, as well as non-submission to the Parliament of the draft law without discussing first the appropriate steps in all academic and scientific instances of the country.
